The charming and very talented, Juan Rizzatti comes to us all the way from Argentina. With his Latin flare, he lights the stage on fire. He leads The Latin Lovers' vocals, plays guitar along with didgeridoo, harmonica, pan flute and accordion. His voice entrances the audience and his many musical talents, brings this band to a whole different level.
Bringing her high energy, the lovely Vern Wakunick captivates the room with her vocals and percussion. Watching her on stage ignites the spirit of the crowed, there is no way you won't dance. Juan and Vern met in Mexico in 2014. Their love story brought them all the way to the Kootenays, where they founded The Latin Lovers. They started playing music together in 2015.
One of the reasons The Latin Lovers are out of this world, is the incredible, Ryan Telegdy. You wont be able to take your ears off of him with his sexy guitar solos. He is the newset member of this band and we are grateful to have him
Trevor Scott, Percussionist and Beat Master. In the world of music, he is diamond to be treasured. He brings the soul of our rhythms, captures every cell in your body and makes you move.
By far, the classiest member of the band, Carl Redden. With his Trumpet and Trombone, he elevates The Latin Lovers' music. The energy of a hundred brass players, he ties every last note and beat together in perfect harmony.
Mike Roy was born in Nelson, BC. His bodacious bass skills bring this band to a level of pure grooviness. With his baritone, harmonic vocals and his passion for music, he makes a great addition to The Latin Lovers family.
To tie all of this incredible talent together, is the one and only, Darryl Hosquet. He is the driving force on the drum kit, kicking this band into "shake your tail feathers" all night/day.
